Yoga, derived from Sankrit, "yuj" meaning to "unite or integrate;" or simply to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is a 5000 year old Indian (Hindu) discipline involving controlled movements of body and breath, leading to a relaxed or an invigorated state. The results are a calm mind, an awakened spirit, and a healthy body. Yoga is not a religion, but a way of life; it's a philosophy on living well, kindly, and in alignment with the soul.
